There will be a planned maintenance outage on the 30th November for ADSL2+ broadband customers (excluding Arc Apartments and Middletown) between 22.00 and 22.30. The actual outage is only expected to last for 5 minutes at most, but will be 'at risk' for the 30 minutes. This outage is to perform necessary configuration work in order to allow us to offer BT ADSL2+ and FTTC services.

Update @ 22.11 :: Maintenance has been completed, although it did require a forced reconnect of broadband customers. No other issues have occured however.

Unplanned Outage :: Peterborough

Posted at 11:56 on 23rd Nov, 2011 by Rick Hodger

One of our suppliers has experience a network fault between Lowdham and Peterborough at approx. 11.07 that caused a brief outage while our network re-routed around the affected circuit. Currently everything is working as per normal, although it is at risk due to the aforementioned fault. We do not expect any long term outages as redundant circuits with route around the problem within 60 seconds or so.

Update @ 14.41 :: There are no known civil works going on that cross the path of the circuit. It is still under investigation.
Update @ Fri 25th :: After extensive investigations with our fiber maintainer we can conclude that there was no works or Engineers at the above locations at the time of the hit. Our fiber maintainer also inspected the fiber route and can confirm that there was no works or anybody near the
fiber at the time of the hit. The link has been stable since the reported hit and we have closed our ticket for this incident.
